if i was given that EM up there, the only, and let me repeat, the only thing i'd change would be the stem. also, i have big respects for John Prolly, and your own Super Ted hardly deserves to be in here as well... all imo of course

If it's built for a purpose I think it can be quite harsh to anti it. It's in good co-ordination for its purpose, and it's not exactly an eyesore.

Ditch the frog, get a stem with less rise, put some bull horns and a regular chain on that Mash and I'd ride it all day long.

I would love to have a go on it though
As soon as I have that thought about something, I know I'm not going to put it in this thread.

But there are already plenty of bikes dedicated to the glorification of Communism, so this one has to be placed alongside ex-СССР team Тахиони and ex-DDR team FESen, so I'm sure you can see how it is anti-porn in that company.

Ah, a hipster then.

Nah, far from it. I just don't understand all the hatred toward the Mash frames. Sure a lot of them are used in ugly builds, but that's hardly exclusive to the Mash. Maybe the style and colour make it a tricker frame to build into a good looking bike, but I don't hold that against it.
A lot of what I see comes across as people ragging on it as a proxy for the Mash lot and by extension the hipster/fixie skidder lot. like they're above it. I wonder how it would be thought of if it'd just been released as the new Vigorelli with no Mash association.

The problem is not the colour scheme, or the association with a bunch of hipster fixie skidders, it's the stupid faux-pro geometry. If they had just released the standard geometry frame with that paint, the number of people who considered it an improvement would more or less match those who thought it had got worse, since the normal Vigorelli paint doesn't exactly stand out as one of Cinelli's finest moments.

Am I the only one who sees bull horns as hipster bars? Can't stand the frigging things

I guess the top tube, faux-pro thing doesn't bother me. Which is ironic, since the thing that bothers me most about the Vigorelli, other than the colours, is the sloping top tube. If it'd been horizontal, I'd have the frame on my 'to buy' list, but as it is, just slightly sloping downwards, it somehow makes me think the whole frame is pointing skywards and it bugs me every time I see one.
It's a frog...
First version of that bike.. with coaster brake..
