What's the name of that frameset? There's a guy at Creative who I see every day, who rides one.

Poor frame.
My sister and my brother have the same frame. Very nice when matched to the right componentsWhy would you put a saddle so far forward? The white front wheel doesn't look too bad

Proper luxury that, his frame couplers, and rear hub, cost more than my geared and fixed together!... and then some.
hah, expensive yes, but a better idea i think to a standard folding frame won't you say
i bet one of your bikes cost more then all of mine combined i'm just that cheep -

I really like it, if it was mine (not that it ever will be, 7.5k, you havin a laugh?) I'd take stickers off wheels and fit some nice black tyres. Reckon the paint job on it looks sweet.
Anyone with photochop be arsed to make the adjustments?

Well, my Bob Jackson conversion, my neighbour was cleaning out his garage whilst I was working on another bike, he asked me if I wanted this dusty rusty blue giant for parts. said sure, cleaned it up and there it was! I have spent a fair bit on parts for it like, and it's a work in progress.
With the Hetchins, my dad bought it 2nd hand in the 70s, for about £650 old money i think. then it sat unused in a garage for 25 years until last year, when I managed to talk him into giving it to me. Money spent on parts and repairs around £300 so far. Was thinking about getting a new road bike, considering giving Hetchins modern gruppo + wheels instead.
Still fair bit less than a rohloff and those couplers.
Well, reckon it's a definite improvement!
now for the flooring...

framesize fail
-
• #12039
just the wrong geometry more than framesize. They have a 'proper' length stem and not many spacers. If they went for a smaller frame to get a larger amount of seatpost showing they would need a very long stem and quite a few spacers to get the bars in the same place.

Is it not more the fact it's a compact frame which looks uncompact?
-
• #12041
actually think it would be greatly improved without deep section wheels.
I like the frame.
-
• #12042
+1 (I like the fact it look uncompact)
-
• #12043
a compact frame that is actually a non-compact frame so therefore looks like a non-compact frame?

Are you running one of them cheap rustbuster chains?
I have one myself, but sort of expected something flashier to compliment those fancy cranks.
Wippermann 7Z1 chain
.

They are cheap, but don't let that fool you; it's a highly considered choice. I've settled on Wippermann 1Z1 and 7Z1 chains after trying pretty much everything else out there.

Not pleased with wipperman myself, one of the pins has gone stiff on a brand new 9 speed Connex chain which caused the cage to skip. First time that's happened.

gently push a philips screwdriver through the link to push the plates apart so slightly...? or use a flat head, insert and twist.
