It does have S&S coupling, which hike up the price, plus there are two option, the cheap one (formula hubs, sugino etc.) and there's the expensive one (white industries crankset etc.).

The bike in picture cost less than $2000.

Fair play, definitely needs some nicer cranks, but it's very far from anti, in my opinion!

I'm not saying the bike is anti, but for that price (if it is the correct photo which I assume it is) then the choice of those cranks is a bit ridiculous.
