  • I'm having to put myself down as probable (70%).
Knee issues after a long run and cycle session today and yesterday.
    Also tonight I have to:
fit brakes, change stem, change cranks (prob), change bars/ stem on another bike, change sprockets, and a couple of other jobs as well.

    • I won't be home till at least 8:30!
So prob a late night. Will let ASM know.

I am in. Rode the blocked roads in the morning of the LondonTriathlon last summer. See you all at 7.

  • If I can haul myself out of bed at 6 then I will be there. Looking unlikely right now though.

  • I'm in (all being well with alarms)

  • id like to but i just got back from moroco and im nacared have fun

  • I'm in!! this sounds well good! see you all at 7.00 tower side.

  • Oh god... it's already 2 am. I might just stay up. One way or another I'll be there tho'.

  • gutted!
was looking forward to this, but i'm in newcastle.

@asm - i got a venue sorted now. so i'll get in touch with some more details.

  • What are you doing in newcastle?! That's where I'm from.

    Cool, I just PMed you.

  • Oh god... it's already 2 am. I might just stay up. One way or another I'll be there tho'.

do it we can talk about art...

apparently im going to be in an art magazine...

  • didn't feel like getting up at 0530 seeing as my neighbours managed to keep me from sleeping.

hope y'all had a good one.

  • my neightbours partying till 4am killed it for me too . Just woke up . Gutted . hope it was fun !

  • good ride, actually bloody fantastic ride, only marred by our inability to launch a mass sprint down pall mall, which I figured would have been won by hillbilly anyway.
Clear roads, polite policemen, good weather, a good pace, and great company, plus the greasy spoon full english at the end was superb.
Chug It we lost you, hope you got home safe and enjoyed the rest of your ride.
Think we may have to turn this into an annual event.

  • RPM, you of all people should understand the meaning of the abbreviation HTFU.

I stayed up all night, got in some killer games of assasin's creed, ordered 12 dildos (no really, I did) and STILL managed to get to the start by 7 on the dot.

Guys that was a freaking awesome ride - great to meet you claus & will, also real nice to see you again henry (and those crazy handlebars). This should definitely become an annual fixture - cycling down the wrong side of the road, through a red light, TOWARDS a policeman to be greeted by nothing but perplexed smiles. Fantastic.

Shame about getting stopped at the last 385 yards though!!

Chris - on the topic of art, what exactly do you think i'm going to do with the 12 dildos? :)

  • aw jealous. i'm putting it in my diary for next year...

  • ahh shit. Sounded like a great ride. Gutted I missed this. Im off to watch the runners now

  • Can't believe the weather now! Looks like we were lucky!!

  • ..oh it's stopped raining.

  • Awesome ride, lads, followed by a great fry-up - thanks!

  • Yeah, it's hard to describe how cool that ride was. Riding down some of Londons widest, (normally) busiest streets, but they were completely empty. Kind of like 28 Days Later. Awesome.

Corny's classic quote was "It's like the night ride, but during the day"

I like the fact that we broke into sprints almost every mile. It was as if the appeal of long, straight, empty roads just couldn't be denied.

Definitely an annual thing! The tradition has been started.

  • Lebowski, are you claus? I'm trying to put faces to names! I'm alex, the brakeless guy with the blue geoffrey butler.

  • Hey Alex. Yes, I know who you are. You very generously gave me the black stem that I am currently using.

I'm Andy, sat next to you in the greasy spoon.

  • RPM, you of all people should understand the meaning of the abbreviation HTFU.

as I found out when I got fucked on from a great height by freezing pissing rain on the way back from Richmond.
and my BB is fucked now.

    fucking cheap shitmano

anyway, really gutted to have missed it

  • ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

I thought you were andyf. He was also asking for a black stem you see. Or did you change your name? Cmon, easy mistake to make! :)

  • Well RPM, that's karma for you. we rode in the pleasant sun :)
