This thread is too long to read but I went for a ride with Hinata today...he was geared and I was fixed. He pedalled for 40 miles and I pushed for 40 miles. I still beat him. Perfect evidence that a fixed bike is actually easier to push than a freewheel bike.

48x17 is my ratio, I did 40 mile with some pretty mental winds last week, was aight. Flat tho, hills would make a difference
