Yes. It was a darker roast than the Has Bean and Square Mile, and I felt that it had been over-extracted a bit, possibly as a result of being brewed for the same duration as the other two. So, it was a little bitter, and slightly flat tasting to me. The other two both had good acidity and maybe a little toffee (I got confused as to which was which out of HB and SM though!).
I asked the roaster from Crediton if he had a web shop, and to be honest, it was because he made no mention of how we could buy coffee from them. He said that I could only order by phoning and requesting an order that way. Unless, they are happy working like that (for all I know they may get great sales to cafes, etc.) I think they should get a web shop. It can't be that hard, and for a specialist business like theirs (daily roasting micro lots of coffee), they may be able to attract a lot of customers across the UK.
Believe that the webshop is coming its just having issues.
Personally I quite liked it.
Have you tried the different types of water for coffee making?

Good heads up - thanks. However, it seems to mean you have to sign up to a subscription - do you know if it's possible to cancel after getting the free bag?

Yes, just poured my first bottle of Tesco water into my machine. Won't comment yet until I've given it a good few shots.
At work, I only use (albeit shitty) bottled water from a chiller for tea and Aeropress as the tap water is horrible. It's particularly bad with tea.

Was that Harris & Hoole's suggestion?

Yes, of course.
My delivery was late, so that have given me a fiver in my account - undoubtedly to throw me off doing exactly that. Ah well, had my first cup just now and it was lovely, properly nice and acidic/citrussy
not bad for free

'London tap water is evil and wants to kill your coffee machine' or something similar... One of my favourite quotes from the LMNH thing.
And roddy, thanks again for those beans, had them in my aeropress and they were ace. What were they called again?

I think they suggested that any water with under 100 somethingorothers of dry solid per litre was a good rating.

Has Bean Wote Yirgacheffe. Probably the best Yirgacheffe I've ever had (may be a tie with Monmouth's from last year though).

Any Aeropress love at the moment?
Can't pin down a particular method/recipe, although getting close with this:
15.5g Square Mile La Buitrera / 250ml filter water, couple mins off-boil
Standard method, not inverted
Pour all water in, stir, seal
After 1m10s stir again and plunge over 25 seconds, stop at hiss. Before I was leaving it for 1m30s and finding it bitter/dull, now I'm getting blackcurrants!
Would like to hear what anyone else is doing with it.

Wondering if you can develop a coffee for hard water?

What temperature is the coffee as you drink it?
-

I'd guess 60-70*C!
Not sure if serious.
But it's interesting how the flavours can change as it cools.

Too low (ie dioinised water) is also bad - need to get the balance right
