I'm being very careful not to emerse it in anything.

In America you also have to watch out for putting it in water rather than emerse it

Only arrived today- going to give it a test run tomorrow morning, I shall report back.
To be honest I'm fairly in love with it as an object right now, so if it makes good coffee that will be a bonus.

Anyone who lives or works in the Hoxton street area needs to get down to "Howl at the spoon" coffee mornings outside the Howl at the moon pub (corner of Hoxton st. and Stanway st.) any weekday morning betwwen 7.30 and 10.00am for superb square mile coffee prepared lovingly by my mate James. Best coffee in the vicinity by a country mile and if you're lucky he might show you his pink bendy lo pro moser.... Get down there for good company, great coffee and some bike porn on show by him and other nerds in the area. Hopefully see some of you there.

Anybody ever had a problem with mail order beans not turning up in the post?? I've had 2 orders from Hasbean simply not arrive..
I know it's not hasbeans fault and Stephen has been really good in resending the orders.
Once. Meh.. Twice.. That's a bit odd..
I've never had anything go missing from any internet orders as far as I can remember..

invite your postie in for a coffee, if they accept then kill them in the face with your d-lock/aeropress/gaggia*

Only once had a problem with a Hasbean order disappearing in maybe 3-4 years. Sounds like a rogue postie

for some reason my last order had an odd address
postie for our office block recognised the package by smell and knew which office to bring it to

No dramas there - it's not an espresso machine, it's a moka pot with a portafilter.

Awesome. Seems everyone loves the smell of fresh coffee, even if they don't drink it. I turned up to the pub last night with some freshly ground in my ruckasack everyone said I smelt great. Who needs Paco Raban?

In other news I can't catch a break at the moment. Only got my Vivaldi back 2 weeks ago and then my grinder literally went up in smoke. Looks like some of the electrics have burnt out. On the way back to the UK distributor for testing........brewed coffee only for a couple of weeks for me

Aeropress fail this morning... Forgot to put the filter in.. Turn Aeropress over and invert on cup. Twenty minute clean up of kitchen tops and cupboards and floor....
