Really wouldn't recommend this company - they're currently refusing to return my grinder to me and have been thoroughly unhelpful/rude. Had to get the ombudsman involved!

Thanks; good to know. Got a bit seduced by the cheapness but shall avoid.. Anywhere else decent that will do a Rocky doserless you know of?

Thanks! Ordered myself a La Pavoni Europiccola, quite excited!
...and hopefully won't get the same level of customer service as mentioned above!

Visiting my parents and dug out their ‘Best’ electric percolator they’ve had forever. Surpisingly good cup even with some stale pre-ground. Reckon with fresh beans and a bit of playing with the grind it could be great. Stays hot too.

The promising coffee shop just next to my office knocked out some decent drinks (even though they use Union which isn't my fav as they roast pretty dark). but suddenly they've switched from proper "barista" oat milk to alpro basic oatmilk and their drinks are not just a bit worse they actually taste fucking rank.
such a shame but if any of their baristas had even tried to drink it they'd be able to tell it has a horrible aftertaste so am guessing the owners decreed it to save money.

Oatly isn’t that expensive, I wonder if it was a supply issue, a few times in the last year there’s been an Oatly drought.

paternity leave.
Congratulations, but you're going to need more coffee ;)
Nomad is a nice cafe, visited there when were traveling in Spain. There was no good coffee between San Sebastien and Barcelona, so we stocked up.

Cheers!
Actually haven't been to Nomad, a local cafe stocks them but can confirm the last time I was in Spain the coffee was awful!

Free cold brew thingy when you order some coffee off Pact. I did it but I think I ballsed up the order and am now getting 2 bags. Oh well

The charity shop espresso machine we've got at work is doing this - is it dead?
better quality - https://gfycat.com/SkinnyDazzlingBonobo
I was previously using crap supermarket coffee and it worked fine but this is espresso grind stuff from Pact (I wanted that cold brew thing) so maybe it's a proper fine grind and the pressure's too low to penetrate the coffee?
I was given the Cafflano Klassic yesterday, will make for a simpler travelling kit than aeropress, grinder and scales.
Made a brew with it this morning, will need a little tinkering with the timings/grind size.
