Hello chaps.
I was down the CM tonight and met a girl from this discussion list. Eli (maybe? - Sorry, Im really bad on remembering names). Anyway, she told me she has been cycling in Sao Paulo and that she hasn
t seen any other fixie on the streets...Next time youre there go further south to Curitiba and you
ll see a few ;) The scene is just starting over there, and it goes shoulder to shoulder with the local CM, thats also making a lot of noise in there. Anyway, here are some links for the ones that are curious about this very peculiar fixed-wheel bunch (it
s mainly in brazilian-portuguese, but Im sure you
ll have fun with the pictures!):

Here you can listen to my mate Jack
s Radio show. I was on the show with Roxy and the BikeSnobNYC (http://bikesnobnyc.blogspot.com/ it worth seeing. It
s a laugh!):
http://thebikeshow.net/2007/12/04/3-december-2007-fixed-fever/You can get in touch and you
re more than welcome to come down to South America and experience some friendly fixed-wheel ride outs over there. I
m always travelling around Brazil, London and Barcelona. Theres a good bunch over there in Spain as well. There
s a site called "Forum" which is a mix of downhill "skid friendly" route and velodrome and it was probably the most amazing place I`ve ever cycled in my life! - My blog about fixed-wheel on the streets
