I was flicking through the channels and saw guys racing bikes about and then turned it over again and American Idol 2008 was on. My Boy Chikkeezie Eezie was killing it, it was sick.
Hot damn I would be all over this:

winston the perception of couriers by non-couriers has never been anywhere near like reality.....here's some truths.....at least 60 % of bike couriers have never been to the Duke or the Snow.......a similar amount don't ride fixed.....and about 80% don't consider what they do for a living as "cool"....
what is also true is that the courier community is incredibly diverse and most couriers do not fit in with the perception of them held by the media and members of the public and it appears some users of this forum too.....
I've known this for years, and have been telling people exactly that.
it doesn't mean I can tell everyone, or that they listen

Maybe this will do something to kerb this hipster/flat pedals and no brakes/not actually knowing how to ride their bike
and i'm sure thats something a lot of us would be pleased with. -

holly shit. one of the most strikeing differences bewteen ldn and denver, is how in london, i felt that every one who was on a bike and nice guy was accpted, where in denver there are strict clicks and if you havent been riding for ages people look down on you. get the fuck over it courriers deserve respect if they are good people fakengers deserve respect if they are good people.
