Sheldons AW to 2-sp fixed works, but has ~80 degrees of backlash due to the play between clutch arms and the pins on the planet cage. Much better is to convert S-A 5-speed (the old S5, not the new SunRace ones) to 3-sp fixed (same Sheldon method). The planet cage has machined recesses/stops that the clutch arms fit into snugly, with only a few degrees of play.

(the pic on the left shows the one i have in mind, by that i mean the one i've seen just has a button either side of the crack arms. in other words, you don't have to shift the whole crack as shown in the pic on the right.)
