I have a crackberry 8700 or something. Helps me feel like a corporate whore.
They break fairly regularly: I'm on maybe my 5th. They are quite good at just sending you a new one when it's under warranty. Shame that the warranty only lasts 12 months and my contract lasts 18. And my phone is broken. So I'd probably stick with the hipsterphone if I were you. -

Let's hope it has a good predictive text solution - looks like you need it more than most. :P

I would normally rep Will but as he intended it to be Larkin-esque I feel it has failed abjectly in this regard.

Thats one word which has always had me stuck on how to spell it.
The Nexus one looks like a winner though.

I've got a work Blackberry that looks like this:
Not sure what model it is, it's the slightly older not latest one.
I do quite like it, but they're best if you're all about email. The 9700 looks slightly better and probably is slightly better but you'd probably be better off with an iPhone or a HTC.

Like others have said, Blackberry are good for reliable email using push/pull. Do you need to open Office documents and edit etc.?

have you tried using plastic cups tied together with string
works well in my house. no awkward moments when you lose signal either. -

Any of the andriod offerings also have very good push/pull email I use my G1 on a daily basis and the emails usually come through my phone before they appear on my computer.
