Good one Kowalski
Jackolas yes yes I think you have a good point. Class.
Mr Smith I like your avatars beret! I hope you live in Tooting. Actually the film Ma'afa did deal with that subject of africans involved in the enslavement process, and showed it to be more obfuscation by white historians. Actually it was african people (such as a Namibian queen whose name escapes me) who were responsible for denying, obstructing and fighting slavery, not Wilberforce (who was a slaver himself). A really intersting point I learned from the film, for instance, was that the British practiced slavery in Nigeria until something like 1916, despite the so-called abolishment more than a hundred years earlier. It was an intersting film, extrememly so, if a little dodgily made, technically. The point about repsonsibility was my paraphrasing, the producer (she not he btw) I think made a valid point to us 'white' people in the audience (only about three or four) was that the question was misguided, political correctness if you will. She was trying to get the questioner to really ask herself what they should do, not expect to be told what the 'right' or 'wrong' response was by African people. I recounted a very thought provoking comment badly.

Fuck I was looking forward to Be Kind Rewind. This razor sharp critique of everything that I am has somewhat spoilt it for me.

Jackolas CAN'T STOP SELF... ANTI-SYSTEM RANT COMING ON...
This site is not racist, it's just missing the point by about a mile. It's not about what white people like, it's about what middle-class people with disposable income like. Go to Dagenham. Full of white people; what a surprise, no expensive sandwich shops or fixed wheel bikes. Likewise, witness the middle-class black people who like fixed gear, graphic design etc. Wow! It looks like colour isn't the dividing line after all!
It's a CLASS ISSUE, and some social injustices act to align rades with certain classes (hence association of black people with poorer classes).
yeah man color doesn't matter at all, thats why groups like the Black Panthers are racists, and the Red Army are freedom fighters. its also why black people are way more likely to end up in prison then whites, and poor black schools are flooded with sewage, while poor white schools aren't.
look up Revolutionary Suicide by H.P. Newton, and Savage Inequalities by Kozol.
white men have no place in any kind of revolutionary politics because they are the embodiment of privilege and reaction.
and we haven't even touched the fact that Marx was wrong about almost every thing, and the things he was right about are not applicable to modern society. 'revolutionary' leftism sucks.

Ratboy thats just wrong they are talking about rich people not white people
i hate when people get their prejudices confused....agreed.
it should be called "stuff-middle-class-people-like"
as if the 3/4 of the white population give a shit about expensive sandwiches and "what's best for the poor" they ARE the poor, and an expensive sandwich is KFC to them.
so although mildly amusing (at best) it does appear to be racist.

MrSmith very funny.
i did wonder if you called it stuffsblackpeoplelike.com and changed the cultural references for things, such as big lexus cars, drinking hennessy and champagne, holding guns at funny angles while posturing in an aggressive manner, big gold chains, spike lee movies etc etc would it be called a racist website?hehe. Don't forget the fried chicken.
