  • chris is that you in the bottom left of this one?

  • nope... i no has arrospoke, or grey/ black bike

i vote we sue this guy

  • errm think he has taken them from flickr which is legal and above board as more images are set to creative commons i think,
other than that im not to sure about the disc brake fixed wheel conversion thingys

  • but it has forum peoples names as sources, actually i remember someone asking for photo's?!?

  • Hi guys.

    Website is down to me.

    Remember this topic:

    http://www.londonfgss.com/discussion/3285/1/anyone-got-any-arty-londonfixed-photos-to-share

All the pics in the website gallery were those I was able to obtain permission from the 'photographers' from - hence they all have a credit as requested (Photoben, Samer, asm, Michal, robb).

If anyone who is featured or who originally gave permission for the pics to be used is not happy I will of course remove them.

    :)

Hope the sticker thing is taken the right way - it's really **'love' **your fixie not fuck it! The idea was from that original graffiti pic which 'Mush' posted some time back and again kindly gave permission to me to use (adapt).

And I hope broken77 will forgive me - when I got back that afternoon and saw this topic originally...well...it was kind of PMSL... I should have told him the message was not really 'fuck your fixie' especially after my request to pop a sticker on his Rourke and take a pic was replied to with a 'NO! - I like my fixie'...

Again, if him or his colleagues is not happy having that pic up on the site please let me know and I will remove it immediately.

He did get me back with the 'middle-aged' bit though - still pi$$ed about that...

Anyway, thought I would give the new business thing a go. I have used a bolt on cog on a MTB fixed for a couple of years and kept coming across so many people that wanted to try one but could only find the more expensive and difficult to get hold of Boone Ti cogs.

    Max

  • Yep. The bottom right photo on the first page of the link has been used on here, too.
    Forum member, definitely.
    Fess up.

  • ahrem sue him was a joke

  • Max did ask my permission and has given me a credit so that's cool.

  • Kind of on topic does anyone know the bcd for an iso disk brake? Google is not helping.

  • 44mm

  • Thanks max.

EDIT: I am doing exactly what you are doing but DIY.

Hope your shop works. IT is a good solution / alternative to thread on cogs.

Smeear Why don't you like the idea? Is it an aesthetic thing? The mount is built to take the abuse.

  • photoben Max did ask my permission and has given me a credit so that's cool.

good day mate...some great photos as well :)

  • Cheers - I can't wait to quit my job and have more time for riding and photos!

  • Quit today!

  • Soon - I need to find a part time job first!

  • I'm also doing a DIY version of the same thing.
I've got a friend to drill a standard DX cog, have been waiting impatiently for the wheels for a week or two :[

  • big mummy smeear
other than that im not to sure about the disc brake fixed wheel conversion thingys

So you won't be wanting a go when mine and Tommy's are built up then?

  • I'm with Photoben - I wish I could just up and quit my job. But lugging my RB67 around with a Studex? I think, I'm probably ok here at my desk. I feel a bit weak.

  • I just need some part time job that pays enough to cover the rent (preferable phot based, but will take anything), and the rest is all freelance!

  • Be a rent boy. Then you get flexible hours, an allowance for bikes and bike stuff from your daddies.

And a pair of "Rape Me" undies.

  • In the photo, who's the dude standing astride his bike, dressed all in black?

  • @ VB - I hope you're not insinuating that I'm a rent boy!
    @ Grande - which photo?

  • Sorry, the 1st photo.

  • The ugly cunt in the hat. That'd be me.

  • Object, I was the Spvr at the back of Ramillies Place, and we used to chat shit about bikes. Clue, Playstation. Saw you reading your book at Red Lion Square, and tried to hook you up with our catering lady, who you spoke to in same language.
