Nervously awoke, after watching the lions get to 9-0 against the raiders before heading to bed. Felt like the game was on a bit of a knifes edge, with detroits defense getting on top, whilst the offense was moving through the gears and then coughing up the ball or stalling before the redzone.
Really glad they got the win, and also upset the raiders seem to be heading for the toilet again and making the appointment of mcdaniels look as much of a mistake as his time in Denver.. feels like he hasn’t learnt anything at all with his time away from the hot seat, and that offense wasn’t in any way cohesive, which is what he’s supposed to be good at. Defense has kept them in games and they kept the raiders in this one, until the lions crushed whatever confidence the offense had..
Wonder if he gets through to the end of the season? Or if the raiders start shifting out talent for picks and go full rebuild?

Update: McDaniels and gm Ziegler gone. Raiders paying out the last 4yrs of mcdaniels contract, why they gave him a 6yr deal I have no idea, didn’t trade davante Adams at the trade deadline so still no idea if this is a tear down or not..

Anyway lions 6-2 heading into their bye week. Just need to clean up some errors on offense and maybe get a couple of players back from injury (looking at you Montgomery) and for jamison williams to start producing on the speed potential to get some deep shot touchdowns to get them out in front so the defense can run wild.
Think they’ve got 6 wins in these 10 games to the end of the season..
