After extensive testing, I hereby announce that these tyres are utter crap:

thats pretty crap, very thin. :( rubino's seem to have way more rubber and a couple more plys of casing

From my (admittedly brief) experience of zaffiros, they seemed to wear a hell of a lot quicker than rubinos.

They have arrived!

Have they all been accounted for? If not, can i bagsy a pair? They look luuuuurvely!

I have got 6 pairs of White Zaffiros to sell, as shown in my photos above.

£48 a pair

Anyone can contact me by email who is interested.

If you were on the list and you email me before Friday 8pm you will definitely get a pair but this will be strictly first come first served, in list order, while stocks last.

If I have not heard from enough people on the list by Saturday 10am I have to throw it open to other people who have been in contact already.

I am not sure where Tynan is up to with his order. If there is still demand later on I could order more and perhaps get some white Gran Compe tyres too. Stocks of both types of tyres in Japan have been fluctuating wildly.

One more thing... I am currently based in Hull.

Edit: just looked at the vittoria site and they are only 26tpi and bottom of the range
so are they easy to keep clean? i mean how do you stop them getting dirty?

You don't RIDE a bike with these tyres. These tyres are used for carefully matching to other select Japanese components, photographing the result, submitting it to FGG and then riding to work on a grey hybrid..
