I think perhaps a few short & concise slogans for signs are in need. One statement, a few words, saying why we're there.

wYs = RIGHT ON! but maybe something funny, sarcastic, ironic, so it will stay longer.

• isn't "To Advertise here call eine" gone? Doesn't mean we can't do it somewhere though. I think that's a great idea. Who has the slogan?!!?

"I love my bike, please don't buy it from that thief" with a picture of orphan Annie or Oliver or something.

I think it's very noble but I don't think anyone except fellow cyclists will care. And why should they really if they're not personally going to be affected, or can't see that it could affect them?

Why are we there? Isn't it in protest against vandalism, in this case of a bike. Vandalism is a subject that everyone can relate to as it could affect their precious car or shop window, etc.

Maybe it would be better to focus on that one thing to make the message more powerful. Just my 2p.

But will could kill two birds with one stone if we BLOCKADED brick lane in the name of asking the police to do something about cycle thieves. And we could do this blockade rather NEAR city spice/Mr Woodseer Nutjob Hatchet Man's Holy Railing of Nonsense With Random Things Attatched to It (well soon anyway).

JOL's work is great. Except You Are NOT Being Watched makes more sense. After all, the police actually sell on stolen bikes they've confiscated right there, presumabaly to get more cash to spend in Noodle King.
