You'd probably find some shops with old stock and they seem to appear on ebay.. not exactly what you need but it's a start..

This is why I'm not rich.
If I'd thought people in the future would want them, I wouldn't have cable-tied a Blackburn to my Viscount and spun through Wales in four days and destroyed them.
With the benefit of hindsight, Wales wasn't a great idea either.

Thanks hippy. I saw them. 36 not 32, shit hey. I saw a perfect set this time last year on a bike on ebay. Problem was the guy would not sell the wheels separately. I would love NOS, might have to make some calls this week.

Do they have to be 32? I mean, do you already have 32h hubs or something? SJS has a single 36H as well..

The Ambrosio rims on the CONdor fakeNJS look identical.
Might be worth giving them a bijou shoutette.
-

I would prefer 32's to be honest as I already have hubs, but If It means waiting forever.... and I could get two NOS 36's in the UK. Then I would probably just get the 36 hubs to match.

Good point I was going to take a look at them. They were black not grey from memory? (goes and checks condors site) -

From memory they're a dark charcoal shade.
About 35, 35, 35 or thereabouts.
Defo not a solid black.
The only reason I can tell you this is that I really like the look of them.
Think they say say "Durex" on them, if that helps.

Durex (condoms?) coating.. can only find tub..
-
• #11
what about open pro CD? de-stickered they should look pretty much the same?
i have a pair of open SUP CD 36hole on a bike but unfortunately they are not for sale... and an open 4 cd with brake marks and a bit bent...

35 35 35 as in RGB? I was really after 70 70 70 TBH. I can't find anything called durex on the Ambrosio site. They do a rim called Nemesis. Durex may be the name of the anodized finish?

Beat me to it

"Durex" simply indicates that the rim is hard anodised.
I reckon they're "Excursion" rims.

Thanks kowalski & hippy. I'll get my lazy ass down Condor this week at some point and take a look.

Just had another look. That classico is on tubs. Tubs + Street + No Brakes = Death

Freshtripe is listing Campag Omega 32s at the mo.
Not remotely v-like, though.

Build, nice new avatar, very clever ! :)

They look sweet as, Tub rims always look so fucking sweet. I've never ridden them. Anyone here ride em with no brakes? Skidding on a mad high pressure tube held on with tape or glue, and the obligatory dirty London rain sounds lethal.

32H Mavic Open Pro's and/or 32H Mavic Reflex's both in CD finish? Close enough match for you? They are NOS. Got Open 4 CD but in 28H.

um I threw one these rims out (it was destroyed) and gave one away last year.
I have a set of tub rims under my bed in the same colour if you want those. -

I often ride tubs without handbrakes. No problems, I just don't skid.
Even on clinchers I try not to skid too much.
Knowing that I'll never find a pair of Araya ADX-4's in hard anodized grey. I'm trying to track down a pair of Mavic open 4 cd rims (32H) in hard anodized grey. Yeah the ones that haven't been in production for years. I did see a set on ebay last year. So now I'm looking again I thought I would ask on here first.
