i use the Conti GP 4000, and only had one puncture, in the back. they're nice.

i ride both as i got a few zaffs for £4.50. I much prefer the rubinos, they look nicer, feel nicer and dont make as strange sounds when you skid them.

I got some gatorskins after 4 punctures in a week on crappy bargain bucket tyres. Put 'em on and punctured on day 1 - grrrr. Arse.

Still - have been ok since, but do find them really sketchy in the wet. Makes for more of an 'exciting' ride in that I ideally like. Need to find something ubersticky & longlasting next - hmmmm.

I'm still using the one I bought off DDM. It's skidded down to canvas and still holding out.. unlike those SHIT CONTIS.

I used to use contis ultra gator until i had the same problem with teh side walls. bought rubinos coz they were cheeper and have had no problems for months - haven;t had a puncture for ages

but that link says contis are good, i is confused
