ERVO = Eindhoven? PedalPedlar = Dalston?
EDIT - Just spotted the decal on the seatube in the photo set...Guess whoever would buy it would just hang it on their wall anyway... few oddities I notice, this is a team Vred/Campag bike but shimano hs? why? lower stack? better? rider preference? it's not original?
Also mavic shifters - I've read that these were popular among riders of the era... so maybe that is why they are there and not some campag ones... would teams ever race with panto'd components like the dt shifters? Cool bike anyway... I like the fork crown... -

No, Ervo is a bike shop in Tilburg, my home town. I'll drop by some time and ask them about it

Not cheap but noteworthy. A gazelle made out of reynolds 731 OS tubes with neat details:

Built these two Gazelles a couple of years back and took them on their first overseas excursion last week. Seven days in the Midi Pyrenees.
The black one (Athena groupset) carried the rack and about 30kg in the panniers, which were necessarily mounted rather a long way back. The red one (Veloce groupset) took pretty lightweight Carradice bags mounted under the bars and under the saddle.
Both bikes coped heart-swellingly well with a lot of horrendous bridlepaths, including about an hour spent surfing over rocks the size of fists and a 3km hike up a footpath carved out between boulders. Those Champion Mondial frames were nothing if not well-built.
On the roads in between, naturally, the bikes were an absolute joy.

a lovely couple!

Wow, 30KG on a non touring bike and no mad flex/bad handling?
Respect :D
I sold my 531C 2008 Gazelle Track as it was just a little too long, but I still miss it, tubes made a lovely sound when getting up to speed :/

Gazelle AA Special, served with Campagnolo Super Record groupset. £600. Is nice.

If this sells for the reserve (about £290) do you reckon that's too much? Considering it as a track bike for use at Herne Hill by Mrs Supercool. (Or, more realistically, just because I want to build another Gazelle Baanfiets.)

If it was 56cm and I had the money I wouldn't think twice but I'd be chuffed to get it nearer £250 (But that's coming from someone who has zero baanfiets and has been after one for about 6 years...)

isn't that about 10cm too small for you ?!
wow. nice bike, but I don't think the price is quite justified. from the bike shop just around the corner from my house (ERVO)
