Wait...is that a plastic Unicanitor for a saddle?
You sir have a Real Man's Behind (tm) ;)
Lovely bike!
Worse yet, I've modified it to resemble a cheese grater. Even so it's surprisingly comfortable (during the admittedly short rides I've taken with it), so I'm afraid I could have masochist tendencies.

Well...I've heard a tale of bleeding sitbones and a week of work after a 60 mike try out run leading to a very polite elderly man calling it "ass destroyer". Cheaper than a bdsm club surely :p

Lust! Black crankset and seatpost would be nice I think. I know it's not the original set up but still. Nice buy. Dicki will bite your arm of for that one I reckon.
Just figured that it's taken you 3 years to get one. Patience is a virtue I guess.I'd love one of these one day.

My jubile at the current setup. (keep in mind that seatpin, saddle, and stem logos are photoshopped, as I do not have recent photos).
Still can't decide on saddle and bartape color.
What do you think? -
• #1860
Not sure yet... cranks, stem, post and saddle could all end up getting changed but no hurry and I don't think there'll be any black except the saddle. Could well end up with white bar tape.
Jubilees definitely look more classy, but I think there's something to be said for just chucking the yellow in the mix. I love the TVM colour scheme (before they went green!) but I can definitely see why others might not. I know that the way its done is totally different but the blocks of colour on the TVMs are a kind of variation on blocks of similar colours on the "Mondrian" Looks (which have to be some of the nicest looking bikes out there).
Knew I should of pulled trigger when I saw it. Was awaiting a tubs/clincher answer, which to be fair arrived roughly 10hrs after auction ended, useful.
May I lay down a dibs should you ever decide its too large for you? -

600 AX gazelle panto chainset
Well, it´s a medium level SR chainset for touring/semi-race bikes in a Shimano 600 EX box. It´s not bad at all, but it would be suited for a Gazelle Champion Mondial semi-race at best. I have a set (could be TA really, never checked the maker) on my late ´70s ladies CM semi-race.

It may not be worth what he's asking no.
I had a look for gazelle cranks but modern Ines have no arms and use some weird clamp on chainring. Blergh. Not going on my 1998 piste.
