I've said it before and I'll say it again, If we insist that people have to 'join the club' before telling us about the box of grips or 1/8" chains they have for sale they will likely just piss off and sell it elsewhere like ebay or gumtree where they are not called a cunt for offering some spare parts to us first.

So we tell private sellers to fuck off and are rewarded by an increased reliance on larger retailers like Evans and Chainreaction for parts. I suppose there is nothing wrong with that, but I am more attracted to the smaller scale (and often cheaper) trading that goes on in forums like this.

I have (more than once) bought stuff off people who have posted here, people who have been told by more than one person to 'fuck off' they tend to be people operating out of their bedroom/front room holding little more than a few items at a time.

This really is the sort of arbitrary and baseless morality that large retail chains and brands tap into.

If we were to tell this guy to go fuck himself (like many similar posts are treated) the result simply means someone will have to buy their pedals from a larger retailer for more money.
