  • JOL How much did it set you back if you don't mind me asking? Keen to know the price diff from framsets.

No difference ! They basically charge per colour, so if you bring in a single bolt or a 69cm frame and forks they will charge you £40.

But if you bring in a set of cranks, three brakes, a set of levers and some forks - and you want them all powder coated in Sunshine yellow - they will charge you £40 for the lot.

The turn around on my stuff was fantastic, brought them in Thursday around 5.00pm and picked them up Friday 3.00pm !

  • i had mine powder coated to - looks sweet.

  • ; ) i had mine powder coated to - looks sweet.

Very nice, I have seen that picture before (perhaps on LondonFixedGear ?) - and I always want to balance out the white as it is kinda covered in a green haze.

  • HA i didnt even notice that, yeah looks much better..

  • Bought an unknown frame and forks on t'bay while a bit pissed the other night. I just can't help myself.
It turned up last night and instead of cooking i stripped it down and tried to identify it. Nervex, 27" wheel clearence, nice wrapover seatstay and campag dropouts. It was a classy bike once.....I'm sure it will be again.

Booze + ebay = odd things turing up in the post.

  • Wierder still, it was inside my flat when i got home. i guess the caretaker brought it in. Bit of a headf**k at 7pm.

  • Lovin' that lever and caliper combo! I'm gettin' my risers powdercoated white so might have to bite your style there Mr Tynan... ;)
Got any 48t black Sugino 75 chainrings you wanna get rid of?

  • yep, that dura ace looks fantastic.

what are all those stems you have? why so many?

    Bite away.

No Sugino rings unfortunately, I will have to clear all my junk put and photograph all the stuff I have going spare.

  • cos no-one's gonna buy an ahead stem that isn't split-clamp loading
    I guess..

That is just the tip of the stem mountain my friend !

I must have at least 30 stems in various places, it's hard to explain how I ended up with so many !

The MC3 ones are Kleins 1" steerer stems in varying lengths.

my 1960 Holdsworth mistral has a wrapover seat stay, if you come to polo can check it out to compare lugs.

  • RPM cos no-one's gonna buy an ahead stem that isn't split-clamp loading
    I guess..

The stems in the photo (the MC3s) are all split clamp - you can't quite see, but the front plate is sorta hidden below the top part.

  • teenslain, if you can find a black 46T sugino 75 chainring, you can have my 48t one ;)

No, road stems, they are a bit confusing from above, I will take a picture.

[EDIT] I also have around 12 of the Klein oversized MTB ones somewhere.

  • Kinda looks like a non split clamp from above, but the split is sort of out of sight:

  • nifty

  • RPM nifty
