You do 50 off road miles a week?

  • last few weeks yes !

  • The past two years?

  • i was a little ambitious admittedly !

  • My thoughts exactly.

  • he'll have upgraded way before they go out of true though

    my comparison therefore is redundant

  • You really need something stronger than an EN521?

No I think these will be a good option over the current 317, but asking opinions on these and other rims around that budget. It's the width I would like tio increase for the wider tyres I have.

  • Just took the chainset off the 'dale and was greeted with a 25mm crack that was hiding behind the tripple. Sanded the paint back in a vain hope it was cosmetic, but no, it's indra'd.

  • Anyone after a 32t wide/narrow chainring? I realised I'm undergeared and am buying a 36t instead.

As made by Vectiox. 105mm BCD. Wide base so you don't need single ring bolts. Retails at £30, has a few months use but should be good for a while yet. Will sell for £15 once the new chainring turns up.

  • Swinley was a wet sandpit yesterday.

  • ^^I might be tempted. How well does it keep the chain on without a clutched derailleur?
