I want to go along the Thames path, but the cunts who stole it for the Olympics still haven't given it back, even though it was supposed to be fully reopened on 1st October.

^ Surely the "security risk" that you posed during the Olympics can no longer be applicable?

I'm away this weekend - will hopefully be on a bike in Tenerife.

Big changes afoot in Swinley
Representatives from SAG met with the Crown Estate this morning. We are close to being able to release the trail map (this week) and we clarified some of the outstanding issues. I can confirm that there will be separate freeride (area surrounding the jump gulley) and downhill (clubhouse area - deerstalker, labyrinth etc) areas where the setup will be similar to what it is currently. The trails and jumps in these two areas will be managed by SAG in conjunction with Crown Estate - it isn't going to be free for all. More news to follow.

Moi? Sadly I can't until the Christmas holidays, but definitely keen for a LFGSS Swinley meetup in December.

Anyone of less than average height looking for a bargain mtb?

29ers go faster (allegedly)
probably utter nonsense and just the trail suited big wheels more
-
• #3772
That's far from being the first test result which points in that direction.

i have to say 29ers do feel smooth. i demoed a spec camber and it felt a lot smoother and faster than my hardtail, although thats prob the rear suspension helping too.
