Swinley claimed a chain and at least 4 pads on our ride today. Good fun though.

Wd40 seems to have fixed most cable related ailments, will take a spin in the week to see what I think!

Thanks, definitely plan to take spares next time...that sand really is a killer! oh....also got to keep hands away from the levers a bit more!

No probs - there seem to be 2 types for xtr - s1 and s5...s5 for new ones with no fins.. do you know which?

I have pinged them an email, have just realised i probably need 2 of one type of pad for the lynskey and 2 of a different shimano pad for the town hack bike.

ok, just let me know what to add to my order and I'll get it off asap....
