Everything on my bike has taken a beating, poploc doesnt seem to work, cleaned my brakes and they seem to work so I think I'll have to replace all the cables, expensive day out....

Wd40 seems to have fixed most cable related ailments, will take a spin in the week to see what I think!

No probs - there seem to be 2 types for xtr - s1 and s5...s5 for new ones with no fins.. do you know which?

I have pinged them an email, have just realised i probably need 2 of one type of pad for the lynskey and 2 of a different shimano pad for the town hack bike.

Don't use a jet wash, it forces the sand and grit into everything.
