What co2 inflator pump thing can people recommend? Preferably with option to mount on frame or seat post for bag free racing

He seems to do a lot of riding right on the edge of the trail, even slightly on the side. I guess in a race the tape might stop some of that?
is Fort Bill actually fun to ride? the top just looks like miserable hanging on over endless rocks! -

I didn't know you knew what a 50 hour service was?

On a hardtail absolutely not but I've ridden many laps on 170 29'r and its real fun, getting to the bottom non stop with roadie arms is solid...it is rough trying to do a full run. At the speed the pros go its probably easier, they seem to skip over the a lot of the rock gardens. For mere mortals its like a series of hectic wee sections with some smooth bits in between after a few laps you can get it kinda smooth. Its class.
The Top Chief trail is something else, incredible piece of trail building. 2.3 miles of rowdiness.
They're popping a blue flow trail in as well.

How did this go?
Sorry I missed this comment, subbed to thread now. I'm from Alnwick and my on-one lives up there. Heading back this weekend and should probably ride it so I have a reason to own it. I'm a total mtb n00b.For anyone heading to northumberland in the future: thrunton woods seems to be a big spot atm, but from what I've seen running around there it looks pretty steep and technical

Hey, no worries! I was actually staying in Alnmouth, managed to get to Kielder one day and hired a fancy full-suspension Lapierre from the shop.
I too am a noob but managed not to kill myself and had a lot of fun. Bit technical in places and some nasty climbs but well worth it. It's incredible just what a quality, modern MTB let's you get away with these days! 10 mins after I took that picture near the top of one of the climbs I got snowed on...

Built this up last week! Frame isn’t perfect in terms of QC cosmetic but otherwise pretty content. Bargain really.

I’ve decided to build up an MTB after many years without. Just scored a NOS Cotic 29er frame off eBay which I will be building up as cheaply as possible! - Although probably with 650b wheels.
This is from 2013 so “old geometry” - although; when I look at the strangely distorted geometry of bikes now.. the stupidly steep seat tube etc. Looks awful to me
Might go rigid to start with ... Akin to my old Haro .. I was running 650b in 2009 (y’know - before it was cool) and there were literally 3 tyres on the market. Glad to have some more choices now
