Blimey, Al. I remember when you bought this!

Yeah @BareNecessities, divorce and not having a home nor space since 2013.. has meant the Lynskey Ridgeline didn’t get any attention, at all. This needs to change so when it’s ready Epping trails beckon :)
This bike must have known that I will live within easy strike of the lanes :)

What frame is that, Tim? Very nice looking bike btw.

What else is out there like a spec epic Evo?
My wife has been mtbing a bit with a hired Scott spark, and now wants her own bike.
The 'downcountry' type bikes look perfect, a bit of trail, overnighters etc. -

Thank you, I’m mighty happy with it; perfect fit and exceptionally capable. A lot of fun.
It’s a Norco XR frame I’m running 650b wheels
In fact it was the replacement for the carbon cyclocross bike I bought off you

Did I miss a memo? If my head tube angle is too steep will my bike stop going places?
-
• #18933
Mezcal also 2.1" (at least in 650B) (see gravel thread for lolz)

It will, and you'll go over the bars every time you touch the brakes.

I don't think any objects in this solar system have enough gravity to send me over the bars.

Has anyone got a shortish Peaslake route they can share? Off tomorrow morning for a couple of hours with the kids in the mud.
[not to worry - have cobbled something together]

I might pootle over to Peaslake tomorrow, I wonder how splashy it will be?

A fair few puddles yesterday, but really not that bad. All relatively small/not too deep

@furious_tiles your bike is a beaut..
Does anyone have Hope Tech 3 Duo double brakes fitted?
I like this idea for LH, leaving RH for 1x11 speed gear shifter

Does anyone have Hope Tech 3 Duo double brakes fitted?
Not me but my youngest (27 year old) son does.
They are on a Giant Fastroad bike and we chose them as he has a paralysis of the left arm meaning he has to steer, balance, brake and change gear using his right arm/hand.
They work well and are hooked up to the Giant branded calipers which are very similar to standard shimano calipers and in fact use the same pads.
Thought I had some pics on my phone but can't find them ATM, can venture into the garage and take some if you are interested

does anyone have cheap 12 speed cassette they want to get rid? Need it for turbo.
Needs to be standard, not microspline/XD. -

I bought an Endura MT500 onesie, in L, when I weighed 85kg. I now weigh 75kg and would be better off in an M.
I’ve worn it 3, maybe 4 times. Would anyone who is a bit more hench than I am like it for say £150?

DTSwiss 240S hubs- standard OLN, and standard QR, but with DTSwiss RWS 10mm bolt-thru RWS. 11 speed road free hub body but can be anything you want. Not sure what these are worth tbh- and whether this is the best thread for them. Ideas please all?

I’m really tempted to pull an Amey and built a gravé bike around these, so nice are they.

I endorse. But those axle standards in combination are very obscure; i think and older gen cotic roadrator escapade had it .. if they can be adapted to 12mm then fuck yes!
Altho 6 bolt rotors .. u ok?

Maybe the cat can be used as a saddle?
Cool, I’ll save my crankbrother colbalt 1’s for slicker tires ‘round town pave, potholes.. and my current STW’s for the Vittoria Mezcal’s when I do my first trip to honey badger territory :) my CBT caballero’s have lived through 8 winters outside and not worth risking.
Soon as I offload those rock shox forks the bike will be so much lighter. So I’ll need to think about clearance if I replace forks, and mezcal’s are 2.25”
