Anyone been to les gets? Looking for somewhere to go for a few days. Ideally get a couple hours per day coaching if possible and not mad expensive. On the trail bike, with low skill. So noting too wild. Maybe also do a few bigger riders human powered out if bike park and on trails, if possible.

Les Gets is good, part of the trail area around Morzine.

I got a couple of hours coaching whilst I was there, coach turned up on a DH bike and it was a couple of hundred € IIRC. He was, frankly, NVG, however.

Loads of good riding in Les Gets especially if you stay in Morzine so you can do both sides of the valley. the passeports du soleil route is really good If you want a long ride covering most of the resorts in the area. There’s also a good back-country sort of ride to the Col du Cou.
I’d bet there are loads of coaches in Morzine but as @Dammit indicated, I bet the majority are DH oriented.

So, I went and bought one of those Stooge Scramblers this morning.
Wanted a MTB again (after more than 20 years) for a while, was unsure if I should go for some entry level hardtail like a Vitus, or try to find some rigid Surly.
Then I saw this picture and the decision where to spend money was made.

So now I am a bit scared because I will eventually have to ride down steep stuff, thankfully I am in Berlin so there is nothing around thats higher than 100m.

110mm * 15mm front
148mm * 12mm rearNew standards have to be introduced every few years or people don't buy new shit.
The beauty of Boost rear wheels is that it requires an offset chain-ring too!

Ah thats cool! Did you go pink?
I was tempted, but I have a pale purple bike already and that would have clashed in the basement. So its yellow for me.
