Michael Bonney of Orange Bikes has had his respirator switched off and has died over 6 years after his accident. His goodbye post is pretty amazing considering what he’s talking about doing.
A real pioneer of UK mountain biking (and reusing filing cabinets)

^ don't read if you are feeling a little fragile! Emotive stuff. Be thankful for your health if you have it.

Anyone have a spare one of these somewhere?
Will save me the hassle of claiming money back off a reluctant eBay seller...

What I mean is I bought some wheels and that end cap got lost in shipping, and the seller isn't very keen to help me out in sorting a replacement. Reclaiming from the shipping company is his problem but I'd rather not deal with it if possible.

You can also hire at Afan, not been there in over 18 months since the new shop has opened, so have no idea what they're like.

Question for people with dropper posts. Just purchased my first bike with a dropper. Where/how do you store spares (tools, tube) on the bike? Been using a saddlebag since forever. But that attaches to the seat post, and I suspect will wear the post down. Also a risk of it catching the rear wheel at full compression.

Bumbag.

Rucksack with a hydration system. Normally an EVOC bag.

Spare tube strapped to frame by BB. Tools either in a top tube bag or bum bag.

Puncture stuff wrapped up by a strap on the top tube, everything else in a Morvelo Covert base layer

A great big backpack, so all the others with minimalist setups can borrow stuff off me

I'm sure it's more than coincidence my shifter comes loose every time I ride with you.
