There’s loads of trail up and around Cwmcarn, I’m only just discovering them (even if my ability is lacking).

Up around Risca/Machen has some tucked away belters.

Yeah, I've ridden Machen and Wylie Valley. Some good stuff there. Loads of steep tech up my way (Swansea/Port Talbot/Neath Valley) if you fancy joining for a ride one day.

It’s only 450 quid for a frameset. Seems like a steal for a new frame with such spec

Haven't been there since I left the UK but the top half of the DH was always interesting enough without going off-track. Other than the first climb the XC circuit was also good.

I'm pretty sure I've seen you slaying gnarlier trails in Epping Forest.

Bikes were so small and short back then. For anyone above 5'10" they looked like kid's bikes.
Watching old vids of Rob Warner back in the day are hilarious coz he dwarfed his bikes.
