thanks davey! xxx
totally agree with you kev, if you consider that pubs are designed to get people pissed always drag you inside after 1030pm for that reason.Kev has a good point, and we need to be mindful of the locals, especially this weekend. Maybe we should make a concerted effort to get people out of the park by 9pm this Sat & Sun? The last thing we will need is to have pissed off the locals Saturday night, and then have to deal with angry people while the finals are going on/

Is there a party or something happening to attract people away from the lovely Newington lights on Sat night?
This is prob the wrong thread for that question

Saturday night London Open party at the Uxbridge Arms on Bath Terrace. Oh yes.
(They just dont know it yet)I had a pint in there a couple of weeks back. Its a nice spot. Friendly people. Spacious.
Support the local independent businesses in the neighbourhood and all that jazz...How late did people play last night? Or tonight?
I am curious to know if those lights ever switch off. -

Kev.. is this the place on the corner on the way to the shop? Its under new management and they tried to poach us in there the other week. They said they keep seeing us bike polo players go past and mentioned they had secure places for bikes in the beer garden...
They have a pool table. I wonder if they have an arrows board...?

Think people are still playing. Dave, Munich and Seattle are not home yet.....

No, if you go out the gate towards the shop, then take the first immediate right. its just down there. There's also an exit from the park right next to it. But if the one on the corner near the shop is poaching us, and they got bike parking spots... why not?

lights were still on when we left at about 1am.
Did the council just switch them on and not bother about the timer?
