It's also worth noting that he smelt faintly of vomit last night.
So his personal hygiene is improving? That's good to hear. -

not really sure where i should say this but seeing as it came up last night. sliding / skidding your bike into someones mallet arm as they are cocking to shoot and at their most vulnerable is dangerous and bush league. Sorry mat, but you could have really hurt JP last night and i meant to mention it to you. You have all the skills to hook or steal the ball at the last minute, you shouldnt be taking someone out like that. No hard feelings from you i'm sure but can we all stop that sort of thing.
BOnly just seen this post. B sorry you felt like you had to bring that up via a post rather than have a word lastnight. I admit it came across as a harsh move, it wasn't my intention to take jp down. I just wanted to block his swing but is ended up being a side on side clash (the greasy conditions didn't help). I of course held my hand up to jp and made sure he was cool, which he responed yes and all seemed ok. But again jb sorry dude.
No one wants to get hurt playing polo (myself included) so going forward Ill do my best to ensure I play to avoid causing such a situ.

no i know you meant well and jp would never have taken any offense, but it was one of those things that was dangerous and i brought it up here because its not just you that i've seen do it so although you were the example its not a personal attack.
Its not part of my game because i dont have a backbrake, but it is part of lots of players games, i dunno its that most vulnerable of moments and i dont think that someone should get hurt in a throw in for the sake of stopping a goal. -
