I poped along for a bit just to see what it was all about (next time I'll actually say 'hi' instead of loitering in the shadows).... I used to play hockey so thought polo would be an ace combo of two lovely things. Seems I'm going to have to learn to ride and balance and whole lot better though. Brilliant skills guys, very impressed.

And I heard as it were the noise of thunder
One of the four beasts saying come and see and I saw
And behold cat brain
And Hell followed with it. -

was it you on the bench?
Yep - aptly disguised as a homeless youth... you know, park bench, cans, tabs, hoddies, crisps - the lot. It did look a lot of fun, but my skilz are lacking (read - non existent). I might take myself to the park and practise going round in tight circles (for a couple of years).

really, REALLY good fun last night!
Had an excellent game with dt and Aidan, and the SLAP-about was good fun too. South Polo rules!"Aidan, pass it to Snoops!"

Katie - just get involved. Before you know about it you'll be riding in circles so fast your head will spin.
+1 on slamm...

@kattie, as someone who went to souths a a complete noob and rubbish bike handler i can recommend it. Just give it a bash, get down early while its quiet and play is a little slower u'll be riding in small circles in no time

Do any of the southies know where i can get a broom on a Sunday near newington?

Im cheating and getting a train to London bridge, so the cut is out of the way, will give the Market a go. Was also aiming for 11 but 11.30 is more realistic...
calm down and throw a scarf on...
