Guys, tonight was excelent.
We had 16 new people come and sign in.
My Dutch friends really enjoyed it and general feedback from everyone I spoke to was that they really enjoyed themselves and felt 100% welcome and supported. Everyone made an incridble effort tonight, friendly coversations, lending of equipment and playing games to make sure everyone got a touch. We're doing our selves proud guys.
I have all of the filled in sheets, Iain I assume you want me to get them to you at some point. I'll make sure you get them before I go of to the U.S. otherwise I'll off load them onto someone else.Guys it was an awesome night!

16 people, that's so good. Aidan, it would be useful for me to get those forms before Friday if that's possible, are you coming north tonight? If not, can you send me the email addresses? I need to [st]spam them[/st] send them feedback forms.

• #3336
Thanks for the hospitality Southies!
I hope dt finds his balls soon.
-
• #3337
A massive thanks to everyone for being welcoming and loaning bikes + mallets.
A sarcastic "thanks a lot" to everyone for leaving me wrestling with the question of how to keep a polo bike in London...

A good night with good games. ... and Gin & Tonic! Thanks Phil ;)
We have to be careful about playing after midnight though. I wouldn't be surprised if the neighbours complain directly to the council now after one friendly warning. :(
Plus, like MAT, I'm shattered!

We were lucky with the two courts last night though. I think we've let the footie players know now :D
Apart from one boy who usually plays football, but is now more interested in watching us play polo!

My Little brother gets his A-Level results in half hour, so I've said I'd hang out with him tonight. Ummmmmmm, I'll email you their email adresses unless I can think of a way of getting the forms to you.

where are you Turd?? I Have to go to Condor in th emorning, any good?
-
• #3342
+1 to what Aidan (turd) said. Last night was brill helping the new people, most of them seemed to pick it up pretty quick so they didn't need too much coaching. It was interesting to find that most of them were inspired by the Euros, and I think it's really great that we're running these introductory sessions because most people would have been too intimidated to have a go otherwise.

sorry i tipped up so late but enjoyed a good few games. brilliant to see so many people down there.
i was chatting to a guy who was watching who trains disabled people to ride bikes. he will be checking this out again and seeing if polo could be developed into his work.
@ landslide, thanks for the bars dude

is this for tonight or tomorrow?
Ha, it was amazing, and nope, no crashes.
Took a while to get clipped after stopping at traffic lights but a couple of more rides and I reckon it'll become second nature.
