I'll ask em tonight about railton rd - she was in touch with them, no?
I'd be up for a wee knockabout somewhere tomorrow eve. -
• #305

I'm game, but work is bonkers right now - will let you know. Likewise, don't have a mallet. I'm useless.
-
• #308
keep that hammer away from my bike! I cause enough mischief on my own. skoota should still have my ball and 3 mallets and I've got one mallet...
-
• #309
If you're all down on 'front line' I'll pop down and say hi, got a bunch of Aussies stayin' at mine from Thursday so need to get the flat tidied up... Loadsafun! :S
@ stelle: Don't worry, I'll leave my bloody hammer in it's box... -

The weather looks good for tonight. I'm definitely up for it. Anyone else?
Polo that is.
-
• #315
well, it looks like we've got no shortage of warm bodies, however sourcing mallets/balls may prove to be a problem...
from the messages above it looks like skoota has 3, however he has yet to reply about tonight?anyone know how to contact him to see if we can borrow for the evening if he can't make it?
Also although I went to the inaugural at the brixton car park i have yet to make it to the peckham location - anyone have an address?
-
• #316
I have his number I know he's pretty busy today so don't know if he'll be down, I will try to call him to ask...
-
• #317
Change of plan for me I am afraid can't make it now have to meet the g'unit after work. I forgot to pick up my mallets anyway so would be have ended up coming empty handed.
-
• #318
hamster, you near me - Tulse Hill. can cruise over together if you like dude. that is if it's on of course.
cheers stelle, let us know what brendan says. i am happy to call by wherever to pick up the tools of the trade
-
• #319
right all. just trying to get a handle on polo tonight. skoota and stelle can't make it but i can swerve by and borrow their mallets. however, that still leaves us v short equipment wise.
in, as i understand it:
bodies:
ratboy
hamster
andyf
teenslain
big richy
jonny
sparky?
asm?
snowy again?
flatlander?tools:
two mallets.any more for any more. this ain't looking good at the mo. decision to be made by 1700 hours. our time.
-
• #320
where is this happening?
Peckham car-park or Brixton Rec Centre-place -
• #321
If I make it I'll be spectatin', won't be able to stick around for long, that's assuming you're all in Brixton... I don't *do *Peckham, there's a (gang) war on y'know!? ;)
-
• #322
Peckham car park. I wasn't at the last one, but from what I gather there are some problems with the Railton Rd place and we were kicked out of the Brixton car park previous to that.
With 1/2 hour to go before decision time it doesn't look promising though
On a related note anyone got any ski poles going spare? clefty?
-
• #323
ok, i'm down for some peckham car park polo. Between me and Slamm we can bring four mallets and a ball
-
• #324
well I'm up for building a couple of mallets tonight, as it seems we are in dire need. What do we need?
Broom handle or ski pole, length of pipe and a few screws, right? Anyone got some more experience with this?
-
• #325
nice work. saved the polo and with 20 mins to spare too. see you guys at 7.30pm.
Ah yes, i thought the same thing this morning when I cycled past it (before being overtaken by someone on a beaterish bike with a rear blue tyre - no more details as it was starting to rain and I was cursing the combination of steel rims and crap brake pads).
I'll go and chase Dexters' Mgt Com numbers unless anyone else has them (I think someone did get some that night)?
