i might come down, was gonna stay in to spend the eve with wifey, but she's going out, so, POLO, slackers, then souths!

Me and Jo'll be down at 6.30, but we're always half an hour late...

i'm hoping to debut this evening, work permitting!!

I'm also an noobish. Never played polo, but it looks fun and hopefully i will not ruin too many people's fun and games with my expected shitness

will be good to not be alone!!

Ok Chaps, been down to sport direct on the OKR, invested £5 in the finest Dunlop MX II 60 degree lob wedge i could find.
Wondering if anyone has any pipe lying around that could complete my mallet. ill b down wednesday.
WIll offer beers in return (obviously can't offer much else given the expense of the shaft!!)
Guidance on how to attach would also be much appreciated!!

I'll bring down a spare head. There are video tutorials on making mallets (I think one is linked to from the first post in the beginners thread.

sweet, mallet building appears to require a whole plethera of tools i don't have, sure i'll come up with something!!
