Also, please, no smoking, vaping, rollies, anything that involves inhaling and exhaling some form of smoke or vapour. This came up again at a HH meeting, and I'm tired of being the dick who has to come over and ask people not to do it. You know the rules, it's a non smoking venue entirely, that includes the stands and the container area, not just the centre track. So please just ride your bike out the main gate and down the road a bit if you really need to smoke.

I'm working with the friends and the trust to get a permanent polo court built and when you smoke there, it really fucks things up. Please, please don't do it.

What's the priorities at the moment?

imo:

1: Net Stanchion on in/out corner.
2: Uprights on moveable section.

I think the rest's in good shape but we should make an effort to straighten out the wind-wall and push it back towards the grass as its been creeping in again.

@dubkev when is the next HH court meeting?

There was a friends meeting last Thursday night and there's been a large glut of emails back and forth arising from that which I haven't read yet. Not sure when the next meeting is, it'll be at the end of the minutes when they get sent out.

It's definitely not just a "court meeting" though, that's just one thing on the agenda. At the moment they are busy with organising events for the weekend of May 14th for the 125th HH birthday, dealing with storage space issues, discussing potential breaches of charitable status with some discounts, and other things.

I am hoping we can be part of that 125th anniversary weekend with the one day polo mini tournament on the 15th, but it may end up being the 22nd if there is track racing on the 15th. I'll be liaising with Paul (new chair), Peter and Carl about that and post any updates in the LHBPA subforum.

Corner stanchion and various triangular supports need fixing, yes. I reckon we should probably use some of the black boards under the tarp to make new moveable boards, as some of those green osb ones are crumbling at the bottom and won't take much more wood screw drilling.

Can we book for next Sunday? There's a few league games going on and after a cracking session yesterday I reckon we are guaranteed to get numbers. A few could get there early to do essential repairs?

Hey up for next Sunday, happy to come along early to lend a hand fixing stuff, dont have any tools though so can only offer manpower and beers!
