No hurry for me, but I won't be there next week cos of exams. I can probably pick it up from yours sometime when you're in.
-
• #11228
i'll be there yep, not til 630 ish though. Are you near brixton at all during the day? I'll buy you a kwafee ..
-
• #11229
I'm not in any rush, next week is cool.
-
• #11230
Kwafee would be cool but I'm in old st sadly.
Think I'm finishing early so not sure who I could leave these with.
Louis are you near my work?
Will chuck them in my bag. -

Nah, I work in hammersmith now... As I said no rush.
(aka I'm mad busy at work and the chances of me leaving at 7 let alone getting a significant lunch break at the moment is very small)

hey guys,
not polo related necessarily, but i'm asking for your input.
me and tom and some others are organising this bike festival, PedalpaloozaLDN, in early june. it is made up of self-organised events, so great creative! you can create you own bike rides, races, games, cinema, etc...

Well, I definitely won't be south tonight now, came off the bike on the way too school. Broken collarbone and arm in a sling for 6 weeks, maybe 3 months before it's strong enough for polo. Fuck fuckity fuck.

Oh shit Paul! That's really bad news, sorry to hear that. :(
-
• #11235
Paul! Commiserations. Hope it doesn't hurt too much.
-
• #11236
Bummer Paul.
On the bright side every proper cyclist has broken their collar bone at some point! :)
-
• #11237
Yikes, its been a bad day for cyclists so far :( Hope it heals up fast Paul!
Andy is in for tonight too...
-
• #11238
serious, i thought louis not getting a significant lunch break was bad enough

Ha, whilst furiously pedalling to school on my cousin's old hybrid :P I think the front wheel got turned by a speed bump, then either slid out or threw me over the top. I landed directly on the shoulder then skidded along on my head (avec helmet of course).
Apparently it's the good kind of collar bone break, so doesn't require surgery, and should heal relatively straight. Thanks for the messages too, I will HealTFU.

Shitty luck Pauly.
I'm in, unless it rains or sprinkles with rain.
-
• #11241
ouch, sad times paul
just ask if you need me to kiss it better -
• #11242
shit paul, sorry to hear that chuck. Joni, what would you like to do, meet me on the way? What time do you leave work?
-
• #11243
PAUL! :'(
I send hugs and the like. At least it gives you enough time to think about the perfect polobike for your (i'm sure) triumphant return to Polo!
Like Louis said, every real cyclist has broken a collarbone, sucks I know, but at least you're getting it out of the way whilst young and able to heal quickly.
We're going to miss you so I suggest you at least come to some tournaments to socialise!
More hugs!

Oh, and I guess I'll be down to souths at about 6, rain or no rain. Not playing for 3 weeks has been awful for my wrists.
-
• #11245
That sucks Paul. I would like to draw your attention to this thread.

Heal up Paul that sucks.
-
• #11248
I've never done mine, in fact I've never broken a bone in my body (that I know about).
Heal up Paul, are you still going ahead with the Hija?
-
• #11249
shit luck Paul, get better soon
-
• #11250
again, it's looking more like 7!...
Or next week for you if you're in no hurry?
Either way is cool. I know the others want their tyres.
B, you going to be there?
