Less bile time in the football thread.
Break out from the comfort blaket that is flgss.com.
Go to events/entertainments/music that I'm actually into at least once a fortnight.
a little more solitude.
more study focus.
Get all my bikes fixed up and sell one.
In fact see how close I can get to living with just 200 items.
Fuck other's expectations of me and worship my expaectations of me. -

- More time for painting, photography & drawing.
- Less time at work - have to start delegating more.
- Enjoy my food more & eat less (I eat stupidly fast and consequently eat too much)
- Be a properly decent owner to my new hound - train him well & plenty of good walks.
- More time for painting, photography & drawing.

Thread bump
So, how's it going with those resolutions people?
I already gave up meat 25 years ago, drinking 3 years ago, drugs 9 years ago and never been much good at smoking straights so the only thing left is simple sugars or whatever the fuck biscuits and sweets are.
I genuinely hate eating sweet things but am addicted, so they'll have to go.I inadvertently have kept mine, my gf went home for a week on the 1st and while she was gone and while I was reeling from the massive sugar overdose of December 2010 I just kind of stopped eating sweets, chocolate, biscuits and cake.
It's been 24 days, I'm through the storm I think... -

1) Channel that inner zen thing - I used to be chilled out to the max, but lately i've let that slip.
2) Get a new job/get funding for the Phd i planned (whichever happens i guess, funding is hard to come by)
3) Do some longer range cycling - 50 mile rides every sunday morning minimum
4) buy a road bike with gears for tours.
5) ride my motorbike more.
6) learn to weld.
7) have a baby, or at least get someone knocked up.1) - going as planned. I am chilled as fuck.
2) - have applied for many jobs, am working on the PhD application, have applied to uni.
3) - Not started this yet. Maybe this weekend?
4) - This has to go on hold until 2) is sorted.
5) - Already started this. Needs more work though.
6) - Er...not yet. I have met a welder though.
7) - Have held contructive talks with the g/f regarding this and 2). -

Some going to plan, some not.
On the win side i've been eating less, cut back on booze and working out more which has led to my body fat dropping to 12% and a newfound ability to do 1 armed pull-ups and chin-ups.
On the fail side I have been mountain biking once this year and i'm still choosing showers over baths, due to my habit of oversleeping.
