Yeah but the picture that you're saying is single-release has SM-SH55 on it, and on the page you're telling me to order from it says that SM-SH55 is multi release, not single.
-

nope it says "single directional black"

underneath "prices from 9.99" -

Yeah, but on the actual picture that you put up as single release, that has SM-SH55 on it. It's difficult to make out but that's what it says. So if i order single directional black I know I am going to get SM-SH51, which I already have twice.

• #34
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!
ignore the picture and place the order for "single directional release black"
or else.......... -
• #35
Hey if I get them and they say SM-SH51, being exactly the same as the ones that I already have on my shoes right now, will you buy them off me for the price I pay for em? Cos they only way I'm buying them is if you say yes. :)
Anyways I can get those cleats from any bike shop in London.

The problem I have is, wherever I look online says that SM-SH51 is single release, which is what I have had twice and worn out twice in a month each. Went to evans, they looked at em and saw they were silver and said i had multi release. Handed me a pack which were black originally, said single release on the packet and have SM-SH51 written on them. Put em on my shoes and they were fine FOR A MONTH. Just now I went upstairs and fished out the supposed multi release cleats, and they are identical to the ones that said single release on the packet. Which leads me to believe that I just need to go back to clips and straps.
Have you checked YOUR cleats against those photos???? Then I might believe that the ones ur saying are single release are in fact single release. But the way things stand atm I think you have the images the wrong way round.

I very much doubt you would wear out shimano cleats in a month, I had a pair for years that were used solidly for ages and scrapped on the ground walking alot while couriering and were fine. Also knew someone who wore his until they fell off as the heads of the bolts wore away. Can't imagine they were working that well by then though. I also had the same problem after a while and it was definately me twisting my feet while braking, it was just a bad habit I picked up and couldn't loose, changed to clips and straps which has been fine since.
there you go - I have the silver ones. good knowledge 31
