Who is this Mr Malone character ?
He's working in conjunction with Witcomb's to modernise the company. From what I have gathered this involves executing a poorly thought-out rebranding and (perhaps) making them increase their prices drastically. Generally he is disliked on this forum because he his a mediocre designer/businessman with delusions of grandeur.

danger joel its says that witcomb are the last london based bike maker, what about ron cooper? and also what about that guy from brixton cycles who makes bikes?

The guy from Brixton cycles has build 7 bikes so far TOGETHER with Kool Keith from Condor. So doesn't know as to what extent that counts.

Here is a picture of someone working in the Witcomb workshop from London Cyclist Magazine. It looks a bit like Tony actually. I had no idea he did this sort of thing too.
He looks a lot more skilled than this fella who seems to be using too much heat and also needs a glove! Ha!
