It starts at the velodrome at HH and, if it's dry, you'll get a lap on the track to start with. The finish is in a sports club just down Burbage Road from the velodrome. There is a bar there. More sportives should have a bar at the finish.

I agree, they should also use pubs as feed stations and the chips on your bike should give notice to the barlady that you are under 3 minutes away so she can start preparing that perfect pint of G.

i am seeing tim on thursday so will agree a time with him then. 0830 would be good for me but then i am only 10 minutes from herne hill. others i want to ride with have a bit further to come.

There should be a number of us in VC Elan or Greenwich Tri kit, depending on whats dry / what people decide to wear.

I aim to be there for a swift start also, as close to 8:30 as poss so maybe we will actually pass on the road, so keep them peeled (as someone off the telly used to say).

Hi fbr, No I am still gearless (as well as clueless) and find myself now longing for a couple of derailleurs but content that a geared bike is on order, deposit down and everything. Will keep an eye out for the Grupetto crew and attempt a high five as you roll past.

I am in for an early start as well, looking forward to it. Forcast for Sunday is brilliant.

the dulwich paragon website didn't really help. am going to wear one as don't want to turn up and find out they are mandatory and then have to shlep home again.

will be a first for me - wearing a helmet not on the track.

I've not ridden a sportive where helmets were NOT compulsory.
I think it would be a condition of their insurance since it's a mass-participation event.
