I just heard an 'arrghh!', CRASH! behind me, about a split-second after I thought 'that's a bit slippery'. By the time I turned round to shout Andy was dragging himself out of the road. It looked like he took the whole impact with the side of his face, there was a dirty grimy mark from temple to chin. Don't think he even had time to put his hands out.

Stupid oily roads...

Bbad luck on the crash andy, sorry to hear that. Roads are really slippy at the moment, i stacked it going round a corner on tuesday morning. Not nice at all. :(

Eh dogs, I've just got meself a new pair of red anodized rims, and er um, was wondering whether we could do a mouse (and when I say we, I'm obviously meaning you :-P) and build new front wheel from old one? When I get me new hubs I will attempt to build my own, hopefully with your help and possible assistance (use of tools/equipment) :-P

it's actually easier to do a wheel from scratch then stuffing around swapping them over ;) . but if you want to pay me £20 then fine :D

only thing is I want to turn the front rim into a rear once the new hubs arrive (haven't bought them yet so might be a while), so it would only be the tenner me old china, me old chum.
@provenrad - I only clean me bikes once the sun comes out, no point in cleaning anything at this time of year, also hoping the dirt makes bike less desirable as well
