Suits me but it's a long way West for the more central heads and might scare off visits from the cool kids who live in Hackney

Okay dokey Sir, it's just the south's drink's title hasnt changed though they did with their venue.
But I'll keep an eye on this. breathes.Just in case someone didn't mention, the title of the south beers thread is right, the first post is wrong.

After WeLo polo last night we scoped out The Chancery on Lillie Road SW6 7PS (@ Fulham Cross roundabout).
Its a reasonably nice boozer with a massive beer garden out back. They have an alleyway down the side and a gate that goes opens onto the beer garden.
We asked them last night how they would feel about a large group of people with bikes turning up and using the beer garden and they said no problem.

Makes no difference to me. Riding 15 as oppose to 12 miles home when drunk is no more effort. -

Everyone take note please!
friendly pub (we go there after polo on Mondays)
bike-accessible, large garden
OK selection of beers.
never very full.@dov - you would think that shutting a 'summer pub' in the middle of summer would be a no-no, but they want to get the work done before the football season starts... so it's pretty likely. there is a meeting today, I'll let you lot know tomorrow.

if they want to turn it in to a gastropub, then being ready by the start of the football season doesn't really make much sense. Maybe over the summer most people in west london decamp to the south of france / umbria...
wish them luck on their well thought out plan.

hey why do we need to go and search for a new pub when the old option of the ship is still available?
also has anyone thought of any of the pubs south of the river down by putney bridge along to richmond, must be a couple of decent boozers along there, if the ship isn't too everyone's taste...There is one cool one just off the river, go to Kew Bridge and take the left path before crossing, it's just on the left maybe 2-3 mins in. Lots of winding inside areas, I believe a garden, and I also believe it has something to do with filming a Beatles movie. Don't remember the name of it.

@Jayloo / Hippy / all
we need to get our hands on a selection of large, silver chainrings for the weekend. I personally think 50-53T slim would work best?
Ah, perfect, thanks for mentioning this I kept forgetting to PM you. I'm free Saturday until somewhere around 7, depending on where the photographing will be done. I have to make it up North by 7 p.m. for to see opera with Stix! I'm also free Sunday.
What do you think about the possibility of a black chain ring in case I wear the black hoodie? or gold anodized?

Nice new user icon, Tanya!
P.S. Crabtree fail last Thursday. Hey, bring a kitten in a bag like Prav's doggie in a bag of a month or so ago. Then you can bring him/her home & not cause too much havoc.
