Thinking I'd recce the Ship in Chiswick - if its too busy: tramp beers in the sun somewhere along the river nearby. Minky and Ada might be popping down late afternoon

I just cycled past there, that whole area from hammersmith bridge up to the bit of grass by the ship is absolutely packed. If you want tramp beers I reckon ravensourt park would be a better plan also with the added bonus of being able to retreat to le raven.
