I have ordered cake from a nearby shop ( Outside Tart in Chiswick ) as this spares me from trying to transport something 7 miles on the front of a bicycle where it would've gone through metamorphosis into a trifle or eton mess on the journey.
Anyhow, cake enough for everyone! Seriously, I've ordered a lot of cake, perhaps 20+ portions, and Outsider Tart portions are US sized... they're huge.
I should probably give the Raven a call to let them know as it's actually a lot of food.
OH, and who will be at the Raven early enough to join me on a ride to collect cake? It'll be ready at 7pm.

BTW, it's also Thanksgiving tomorrow... which is partly why I chose a US cake shop to buy birthday cakes for the forum from.

Don't you have your "onion's seller bike" for that?
-
• #21274
Yeah, but it will be jiggled and bounced around.
Unless it was a fruit cake, it wouldn't stand a chance.

• #21275
I should be there in time to help.
