The Ship's ridiculously convenient for me (on the ride home) but happy to vote for change. Much space outside at the Pear Tree?
Good to see everyone last night, sorry it was brief. Next week we'll be there 'til close...

as mentioned back when it kicked off, I'm against the pear tree for various reasons, so there's no point in going back over it.
Count this as a vote for somewhere else, just not the special place.. -

So, where this week?
-
• #20062
The pub?
-
• #20063
How about one that is not the Pear Tree or the Old Ship?
-
• #20064
It's Tuesday Murts.
-
• #20065
Given how long any potential discussion as to the location of beers could take its probably a good idea to start early.

Feel free to make suggestions.

pear tree
it is winning on the list front, nothing better has been suggested and the ship is shit
-
• #20069
we caved in to a vocal minority and left the ship, but it was not a satisfactory result

And it sells bags of Niki Lauda's ears. Which are delicious, but fundamentally wrong.

?? DJ?
My final word on this matter:
In the long term take Wests where you feel it should be, but in my opinion that should not be the Peartree - that location is killing Wests and soon you will have no one but a regular few coming. If that's how you want Wests then by all means go for it but you wont get many newbies turning into regulars and you wont get much of the veteran non-Wests crew tipping up on a regular basis.
This Thursday would be my last Wests proper and I don't at all expect you to not hold it at the Peartree if that's where the poll has decided, but if that's the case then I'll just have to see you guys some other time as I'll be damned if my last Wests is there.
Take it easy guys. And don't let Wests die.

Ship it is then.

Or a crawl. A wander through pubs past... but clearly not the Tree of the Pear nature.
