Was thinking it was still 'on tour' officially and that hurlingham park in the sun on Thursday would be plesant... No need to play polo just sit in the park and watch other people crash into each other (unless you want to try it out?)...

Hmmm, I'd like to give polo a try sometime, can't get there early enough this week though.

On another note, did my first snot rockets today. Aroogah was impressed with the trajectory, but not with the fact that they hit the Mercian ... I think I'm buying dinner.

I am not absolutely sure they let ex-fencers do polo, there was that horrible "accident" in the euro champs at Stuttgart in '99 where a broken mallet was used to impale the ref. Most unfortunate.

Its less than a mile from Hammersmith and its a very nice little pub.
Just check back on here tomorrow to make sure it hasn't moved to a different pub but
it is highly unlikely that will happen.
People are usually there from 6/6.30 until closing time.

I might pop down a bit earlier (4.40?) and have a knock about by myself depending on weather and if my new mallet (lots of superglu, no screws) holds togeher at all (doubtful).
