Also, I think Richmond Park closes early only to cars. The ped gates are still open and you can wheel a bike through them no probs.

It's west off North End Road, so it must be scummy.
I used to cycle that road every day about ten years ago (Kensal Green to Fulham/Chelsea). It's less shitty than Hackney, but Kensington it ain't.

it's fine. plus the garden is at the back, limited access via the pub or side entrance.
